ARLINE'S ANCESTORS

      A STUDY OF MY PEOPLE

      Welcome!
My hobby is genealogy and the families that I am most interested are listed. At this site you will also find many interesting things that might remind you of days spent "back home". Please kick off your shoes, make yourself comfortable, and take a look around.

Much of the information on this site has been removed. I took it down, because people were copying my information and misrepresenting it on the web. While I don't mind someone taking pictures and information for their own personal research, I do mind when they steal it and post it on the web as if it were their own. But, that is not as bad as it got. They copied some of my tombstone pictures and posted them in another cemetery in another county. Why? Who knows? And they copied my grandparents picture and posted it as being a photo of my grandmothers ancestors born in the 1700s. I won't even attempt to explain their reasons for that one! It's just unexcusable! I will still share anything I have with someone who is truly interested in the family, but just copying info to post somewhere else on the web by someone who just "happened" to find my website, and hasn't any connection to the family just doesn't make sense to me!

Most of my ancestors settled in the Southern Middle Tennesee areas near Bedford, Rutherford, and Williamson Counties about the time that Tennessee became a state. The families that I am researching include but are not limited to:

      | MANIRE | SUDBURY | WINDROW | DAVIS | HARRIS |
