MARGARET "MAGGIE" MAY WINDROW

Margaret "Maggie" May Windrow was born May 4, 1886 and died Jan. 1, 1970. She married James Pleasant Moon, M. D. in 1906. He was born Nov. 1, 1881 and died May 28, 1956. Dr. Moon practiced medicine in the Christiana, Eagleville and College Grove communities in the early 1900's and later served as county health officer in the Tennessee counties of Lake, Dyer, Coffee, and Franklin Counties. They had three children.

A. James Robert "Jimmy" Moon born June 27, 1912 and died Dec. 6, 2002 married in 1939 to Miriam Harwell of Cornersville, TN. She was born June 25, 1917 and died Aug. 27, 2002. Both taught school at Cornersville and later he founded J. R. Moon Pencil Company in Lewisburg.

B. John Urban Moon was born March. 18, 1919 and died Sept. 28, 2000. He married in 1958 Margaret Ann Tucker of Winchester, TN. John served in General Patton's army in World War II and later taught for many years at Franklin County High School, Winchester, TN.

C. Harold Pollard Moon married in 1949 Margaret Jane Vance of Dyersburg, TN. Harold served in the U. S. Air Force in World War II and later became pharmacist in Springfield, TN.
